Lent is traditionally a time to review and reset our journey with God. We want to achieve a healthy balance between feeding our soul and giving out to others.
Most of us have far more demands on us than we have inner energy and wisdom to meet, and Lent can be a time to refuel.
Here are some ideas to help you:
Living Word: Lent is a contemplative approach. Gill and Steve will lead this every Wednesday evening during Lent from 7.30pm – 8.30pm in St Mary’s church, Bishopswood Road, Tadley, beginning on March 13th. (NOTE: Wednesday 4th April takes place at St Peter’s).
Check out the website: https://st-marys-church-tadley.org.uk/calendar
There is no need to book for these sessions, just turn up.
Daytime Living Word: Lent The same sessions are also available at 11am on Wednesdays at St Mary’s, beginning on March 13th.
You might wish to join others for a discussion course.
Richard will be running a Lent Course for 5 Monday evenings (beginning on 4 March) at his house.
The course is based around the film/book/Tv series, Les Miserables. It is a bible study, not a film study, but it uses the stories in the film to explore social justice, forgiveness, redemption and other big issues.
If you would like to join the course (even if you can’t come every session), please email Richard: email@example.com
You might wish to follow an on-line course or series during Lent. These organisations will send a daily email to help you think, pray and grow. Sign up by clicking on the links:
