No Service at St. Marys. This Sunday, April 2nd is Palm Sunday and we have a very special benefice event in Silchester. For those feeling fit, we will meet at Silchester Village Hall at 9:30 am and walking through the ancient city of Calleva with Bobby the donkey, re-telling the Palm Sunday story. We will end our walk in the amphitheatre. If you are walking with us please bring wellies and waterproofs – the walk will take place no matter what the weather!
The morning will culminate with a service of Holy Communion led by Steve and Rob around 10:30 in the church with drama by Open the Book. Please note due to weather and groundwater the service has been moved from the amphitheatre into the church. There will be hot cross buns and refreshments served in the church after the service. I hope you can join us for this special service (and the walk too if you are able) There will be no other morning services in the benefice.
